Activities in Mathura

In addition to seeing temples, Mathura offers a variety of activities. Rarely are visitors from around the nation and the world exposed to such activities that offer a wonderful experience and promote serenity and harmony. Let's look at each one, in turn, to discover what you may do in Mathura during your upcoming visit.

Visit Kusum Sarovar

This water reservoir is 450 & 60 feet long and deep. The most well-known reservoir in Mathura is this one because it is thought that Lord Krishna, as well as Radha, used to join here in secret on the margins of the water container. Additionally, Lord Krishna's beloved Kadamba trees are all around it. The genuine difference is made by the calmness and quiet that surrounds the water body. You sense the emergence of a new spiritual being within yourself.

Kan's Quila, one of Mathura's most well-known attractions, is named for Lord Krishna's maternal uncle. According to Hindu mythology, the Mahabharata is said to have existed when this fort was built. Thus, you must go to Kan's Quila, also called Purana Quila, if you lovehistory and want to see one of the actual artefacts from the Mahabharata. It is an excellent kind of art comparable to Hindu and Mughal architecture.

Kesi Ghat

Kesi Ghat, located on the Yamuna River's banks, is named for the Kesi monster that Lord Krishna slew. According to Hindu legend, Lord Krishna's uncle Kansa, who sought to slay Lord Krishna, dispatched the horse-demon Kesi. It is said that Lord Krishna bathed in these ghats after killing the demon. Since then, this location has been revered as a holy space.
